Speeding and inattentive driving are the lead causes of accidents in high pedestrian areas. ATM Permanent Rumble Strips alert drivers and slow traffic without the added time and expense of installing thermoplastic, asphalt, or grooved rumble strips. Self-adhesive rumble strips create a visual, audible, and physical alert to drivers in traffic areas where caution is critical, such as school and airport pick-up and drop-off zones, hospitals, and other pedestrian areas. The highly visible, bright green rumble strips focus drivers' attention on the road and surroundings, while a repeating "rumble" sound and physical vibration increases drivers' awareness. Rubber-based ATM rumble strips install easily with no special equipment. Specially designed for concrete and asphalt surfaces, rumble strips have a pre-applied adhesive backing that creates a secure bond to the road surface. Quick installation reduces the amount of time workers are exposed to dangerous traffic conditions. Roadways can be opened to traffic immediately after installation. The strips are available in 4" x 50' rolls. In addition to bright green, other colors available include orange, white, black or custom colors. Rumble Strips should be applied in three sets of ten. The strips in set one should be 10' apart followed by 500'; in set two the strips should be 5' apart followed by 500'; in set three the strips should be 18" apart. The only limitation is your imagination. DIRECTOR 60 pavement markings are exceptionally durable and easy to install, limiting the need for road closures. The tapes can be inlaid or overlaid, allowing roadways to be opened to traffic immediately after installation. Intersections and other high volume traffic areas require tougher pavement markings that will withstand the abuse of stop-and-go and turning traffic. DIRECTOR 35 tape meets high durability needs through its specially formulated polymer matrix, which provides the tensile strength necessary to stand up to the abuse of repeated stops and starts and the shearing action caused by the turning of tires. A thicker, wear-resistant urethane topcoat builds upon the strength of the matrix and provides the foundation for superior bead retention and reflectivity. Ceramic skid resistant particles contribute to improved traction for both pedestrians and vehicles. Because of its high durability, DIRECTOR 35 tape eliminates frequent re-striping. It is quick and easy to apply, so traffic disruption is minimized. All this helps save time and money and reduces road worker exposure to traffic.
