There is of course many types of reflective sheeting available, meeting and exceeding federal requirements, and distance applications.

Type 1 - Engineer Grade

Type 1 - Engineer Grade

Engineer grade tape is primarily intended for reflectorizing traffic control signs, and delineators that are exposed vertically in service. Applied to properly prepared sign substrates, Engineer Grade sheeting provides long term reflectivity and durability.

Type 1 - Engineer Grade

Type 4 - High Intensity Prismatic

Non-metalized microprismatic lens reflective sheeting designed for production of reflective durable traffic control signs, work zone devices and delineators that are exposed vertically in service. Its unique prismatic construction provides a high level of retroreflectivity for multiple traffic control situations. Meets both ASTM D 4956 Type III and Type IV specifications.

Type 8 - Long Distance Prismatic

Type 8 - Long Distance Prismatic

This sheeting offers excellent daytime color and the highest levels of reflectivity where higher ambient light levels can make signs less visible. It is ideal for overhead guide signs and directional signs. Applied to traffic signs it can provide early detection and an extended range of sign legibility.

Type 9 - Premium Prismatic

Type 9 - Premium Prismatic

Highly reflective, durable, microprismatic lens sheeting with pressure sensitive adhesive. Signs are highly visible, even in visually complex nighttime roadway environments. Exceeds ASTM D 4956 Type IX standards.

Type 11 - Full Cube Prismatic

Type 11 - Full Cube Prismatic

Full-cube prisms are 100% efficient - returning approximately 60% of the available light back to the driver compared to only 40% with other prismatic reflective sheetings. This sheeting is a proposed ASTM Type XI and is designed as a replacement for all types of reflective sign sheetings in use today.
